1. Who we are
iDecodeMe ("iDecodeMe", "we", "us") is a sole proprietorship operated by Parindsheel Singh, with its principal place of business at 1077, Sector 67, SAS Nagar, Punjab 160062, India. By accessing or using this website or the iDecodeMe service (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms").
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to contract under Indian law to use the Service. The Service is designed primarily for users located in India.
3. What the Service is (and is not)
iDecodeMe is a wellness and educational platform. It reads the markers in health reports you upload and returns plain-language explanations. It is not a medical device, not a diagnostic service, not a substitute for professional medical advice, and does not establish a doctor–patient relationship. Nothing on iDecodeMe should be used to self-diagnose, start or stop medication, delay seeking care, or override the judgement of a qualified healthcare provider. Always consult a registered medical practitioner about your health.
4. Your account and acceptable use
You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree not to (a) upload reports that are not yours or that you are not authorised to process; (b) attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the Service; (c) use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in violation of the Information Technology Act, 2000 or any other applicable Indian law; or (d) upload malware, illegal content, or content that infringes third-party rights.
5. Payments, plans, and refunds
Paid plans are processed by Razorpay. All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy. We may change pricing prospectively; changes will not affect fees already paid.
6. Your content, our content
You retain full ownership of the health reports and data you upload ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, process, and transmit Your Content only for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy — principally, to generate your decode and let you access it. All software, design, copy, and branding on iDecodeMe are owned by us or our licensors.
7. Data & privacy
We handle personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms and is written to comply with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available"basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that decoded explanations are complete, current, medically accurate for your individual case, or free of error. You use the Service at your own risk and are solely responsible for any medical decisions you make.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, iDecodeMe and Parindsheel Singh shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including damages for loss of profits, health outcomes, goodwill, data, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) INR 2,000.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless iDecodeMe and Parindsheel Singh from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Service, or violation of any law or third-party right.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account and data as described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to the Service or these Terms
We may update features, pricing, or these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email and by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at SAS Nagar (Mohali), Punjab shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service.
